The start of this little basket is a tied base. All of the spokes are tied together at midpoint, then separated into groups as you twine around the base. The number of spokes in a group depends on your starting bundle. This technique is used by Wasco Natives for their Sally bags.

We will also be experimenting with color changes and designs. This will be an opportunity to practice your twining skills. There might be an opportunity to learn under-twist full-turn twining. We will be using #6 and #7 waxed linen.
