Make a coiled cloth/rag basket from your scraps or tie-dyed fabrics. Best to use fabrics that are woven with the print or color on both sides, rather than printed fabric. This is an excellent technique for making hot pads, trivets, and placemats. Fabric, cording and needles will be provided. Feel free to bring your own. Mill Ends has a batik section, one yard is more than enough for several baskets.
