2009 Retreat

The 2009 GBB retreat will be Tuesday, May 12th through Friday, May 15th.  We have added another full day so that we can offer one all-day class and one day with two half-day classes.  We will again be meeting at Zephyr Point at Lake Tahoe, Nevada.  The cost of three nights lodging and 8 meals will be approximately $197.  The class offerings and fees will be announced at a later date.  New this year is a contest to pick the best basket offered for raffle.  The winner will enjoy having their lodging and meals for free!! (That's $197!!)  So . . . start thinking about what you want to make.  Again, the raffle proceeds will help offset the cost of the retreat.

A deposit of $25 is requested at the time of registration.  A sign-up sheet will be available at all meetings or you can mail your check (made payable to Great Basin Basketmakers) to Joan O'Brien, 950 Yellow Pine Rd, Reno, NV  89511.  We need to provide Zephyr Point Conference Center with a count of the number of rooms we'll need by 2/12/09 so please sign up soon.
